Step 1: Create and build partnership
- NCC visits client’s facilities to more
closely assess the needs of management.
- Discuss the ideal candidate profile and position
description.
- Establish timeline for
the successful completion of the search.
- Establish measurable objectives for successful candidate.
Step 2: Research potential candidates
- Identify viable or optimal candidates by performing
research on competitive companies and industry
sources.
- Contact relevant networks, associations,
conferences, and membership listings, databases
and referral resources.
Step 3: Screen and interview candidates
- Screen initially, to determine candidate’s
qualifications, personality and level of interest
and salary level.
- Conduct in-depth phone interview to identify
candidates strengths, achievements, leadership qualities,
and potential personality fit with client’s
culture.
Step 4: Send detailed progress report to
client
- Create and send progress report with qualified
and screened candidates, until the final candidate
has been selected and hired.
Step 5: Post-interview feedback and next
steps by candidate and client
- Set up interviews with client and selected candidates.
- Follow-up with client and candidate(s) to discuss
feedback and next steps.
- Arrange next steps as needed, which may include
face-to-face interview, on-site interview, second
interview with client team, or other steps as desired
by client.
- Assist client in obtaining reference checks & background screening.
Step 6: Final candidate(s) negotiations
- Work closely with client and candidate to coordinate
compensation package and start date.
- Assist in relocation process and employment for
a spouse.
Step 7: Successful candidate placement follow-up
- Discuss and evaluate with both client and candidate
the process, achievements, areas for improvement,
and how NCC can work even more effectively on the
next search.
- Remain in contact with client and candidate to assist with any post-hiring problems.
