Adept Multimedia's servers are housed in
a data center which provides the physical environment necessary
to keep the servers up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. This world-class facility is custom designed with temperature
control systems. It offers the widest range of physical security
features as well as video camera surveillance and security breach
alarms.
Data Center: Located at
the DV2 data center inside 56 Marietta, a 162,000 sq. ft., 10
story building located in the heart of Atlanta's central business
district, two blocks from CNN. This telco/data grade facility
is comprised of CLEC's, ISP's and ASP's which include 80 telecommunications
companies and 36 fiber providers.
Bandwidth:
Dual GigE (BGP-4) Multi-homed fiber optic suppliers, Williams,
Verio, and Cogent supply reliable and fast connections to your
server at speeds in excess of 1000mbps.
Fire Protection: Dry pipe pre-action
system.
Security: 24/7 manned security
station in building lobby, with “man-trap” secured doors. Exterior
closed circuit TV on front entry and rear loading . Card key
access to all exterior doors.
Primary Power: Building is
engineered to provide all full floor tenants with 100 watts
per sq. ft. of power at 480 volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire and the “MMR”
with 100 watts per sq. ft. of power at 208 volts, 3 Phase, 4
wire. Existing electrical services consist of (3) 2000 KVA,
480 volt transformers in the 480 volt GA Power Vault and (2)
500 KVA volt transformers in the 208 volt GA Power Vault. The
480 volt and 208 volt Vaults are fed from a “Network Distribution
Grid” which is served by multiple and separate GA Power sub-stations
providing superior redundancy and a very reliable source of
power.
Backup Power: Building currently
has (14) backup generators.
Fuel Storage: 56 Marietta
has 12,000 gallons of existing fuel storage.
Within this facility, we are able to deliver
the highest level of reliability through a number of redundant
subsystems, such as multiple fiber trunks coming into the Data
Center from multiple sources, fully redundant power on the premises
and multiple backup generators.
Data Center Connectivity: Fully redundant OC-3 with multiple
DS3 circuits Sprint, Verizon, and Verio.
Servers: Servers are up to date Linux
based machines, and web site populations per server are kept
low to ensure good performance for all of our customers. Servers
are consistently worked at 50% of their available capacity.
